Morgana
(Cuvée f2 x Rubyjack f2) 10 beans+
Cuvée came into my life from Subcool, it was the last tester he sent me before he died and told me to “just grow it.” He had lost the original Cuvee in the NorCal fires the year before and put out word to the Weednerds for seeds to recreate the strain.
From packs of original Cuvée Sub and Badger found a father and mother and created the F2 that Sub sent to me and others. I loved the beans I got, and my favorite phenotype came out absolutely stunning, deeply red wine and chocolate, greasy and sticky to the touch and with a great high. It was easily the most elegant thing I’d ever grown but with an infuriating recursive branching structure that made pruning difficult.
I crossed her to Rubyjack f2, a male I created from selected phenotypes of Rubyjack, a strain I tested from a friend of mine named Mz.Stevia, Rubyjack is (Ruby Slipper x Son of Jack).
In testing, Morgana has grown vigorously with praying leaves and often large 9 and 11 leaf fans. She is a moderately heavy feeder and stretches extensively in flower, you should expect her to at least double in height. Training in veg is heavily recommended and you’ll be rewarded with copious resin. 2+ lbs/ light is easily achievable with good training and appropriate defoliation.
Growers should expect everything from spiced wine to sweet berry candy to vivid sour cherry flavors with a fairly consistent uplifting giggly high, pay special attention to any sour leaners as those are my current favorites.
There are phenotypes that finish in less than 60 days, most growers should expect to harvest between 63-70 days.
