Cuvée 2 x Highland Thai Kerala CS 3
Deep in the bowels of the cathedral, dark night surrounds a small cell where Morgana plies her magic. Squeak! what was that? A ghost? A crown roast? A host most grossed? We’ll never know in the fog of door.
Continuing in the vein of sinning against man and god, I decided to tempt my fate by crossing the original mother to Morgana and all her lines, Cuvée 2 from Subcool. Bred around 2017 or so by Subcool and Badger, this was a recreation of his favorite strain Cuvée that he unfortunately lost in the fires that consumed his and Mz Jill’s former home.
The recreation was by all accounts delightful, and my testers certainly came out splendidly. My favorite, the Cuvée 2 had a chocolate and pinot wine profile that was the essence of luxurious weed. From bag appeal to jar appeal to smokeability it was an absolute 11/10.
Adding a bit of citrus and sour often makes a good dish great, and I figured how better to improve this wonderful profile than by adding not only a bit more forceful headiness to the already balanced but euphoric high; well of course to add some nasal sour pinesol in the form of Highland Thai Kerala CS 3 and enjoy the added stretchiness of the progeny. Cuvée and her sisters had a tendency to sprout new branches fractally out of fan leaves, making pruning and training more difficult than it need be. The Highland Thai Kerala CS 3 will help a lot with this, something I can confirm from personal testing of about twenty seeds.
Expect high yields, wonderful flavor and great washability. The trichomes on this one are lush and primarily capitate stalked.
